PFBA aims to encourage and promote business, mutual understanding and friendly relations between the business communities of Pakistan and France. In pursuit of this, the Alliance intends to encourage, participate and facilitate the exchange of visitors and delegations between the two countries, maintain directories, periodicals and other literature regarding trade information on French companies; and finally, assist in identifying and disseminating information relating to business opportunities between the two countries.
At present, PFBA publishes a biannual newsletter which is circulated among PFBA members, textile & pharmaceutical companies and other leading business houses, all Chambers of Commerce and Associations in Pakistan. In addition, it is circulated to leading companies and organizations in France through Pakistan Embassy and MEDEF. The Newsletter publishes information on current activities taking place in France as well as Pakistan. PFBA currently has a program of inviting Guest Speakers to address its members on various aspects of economy. It is intended to invite, at regular intervals, distinguished persons including government figures, experts and learned personalities in this regard.
The "Officier de l'Ordre National du Mérite" (Officer of the National Order of Merit) is an honorary distinction created by General de Gaulle in 1963 which recognizes the merits of persons French or foreigner who distinguish their private or professional life in service of France and who have played an important role for the development of relations between their country and France.
"The Ambassador of the French Republic in Pakistan is our Patron-in-Chief and the Consul-General of French Republic in Pakistan is our Patron.
"PFBA is currently having twelve Board of Directors whom contributing towards the promotion of Pakistan-France investment."
